Talluna keeps your gift card balances. Your register keeps your sales. Swipe or scan any card, from any printer, and the balance is right there.
Your register doesn't need a gift card feature. It doesn't need to know Talluna exists.
Sell the gift card, or take payment for the purchase, exactly the way you do today. Talluna never touches the money.
Issue, redeem, reload, refund. A partial redemption leaves the rest on the card. Every action shows who did it.
Any device signed in to your shop sees the same balances. Reports show what you owe on outstanding cards at any moment.
Any plastic card with a mag stripe, barcode or QR code registers itself the first time it's swiped or scanned. No PINs, no spreadsheets, no pre-loading numbers. Cards from any printer, including the box you already bought.
Readers: any USB swiper that types like a keyboard, on Mac, Windows or a USB-C iPad. QR codes scan with the iPad camera.
Big buttons, a PIN for each person, and a ledger the owner can trust.
Partial redemptions, refunds back onto the card, cash-outs, and a void for the last mistake.
Cashiers issue and redeem. Managers approve manual entries, freezes and large cash-outs. Every line in the ledger has a name.
Outstanding balances, cards sold and redeemed by month, dormant and expired balances, and a CSV of everything.
Freeze the card, then move its balance to a new one. The old number stops working.
Talluna is a balance ledger, not a payment processor. There are no held funds and nothing to wait on.
An optional page where a customer types the full card number and sees the balance. Nothing else.

Need cards? Any printer's cards work. Blank Talluna cards with a check digit are coming; we'll email you when they're ready.
No. You ring the sale on your register the way you always have. Talluna only keeps the balance on the card.
Yes. Any card with a mag stripe, barcode or QR code works. It registers in Talluna the first time you swipe or scan it. No PIN is needed.
A USB mag-stripe reader that types like a keyboard, about $20 to $40, on a Mac, PC or USB-C iPad. For QR codes the iPad camera is enough. You can also type a number by hand, which needs a manager's PIN.
No. Talluna is a ledger. The payment goes through your register and stays with you. We charge a flat monthly or yearly fee.
Not unless you turn that on. Federal law doesn't allow expiration under five years from purchase, and some states forbid it entirely. The default is never.
Every device keeps a copy of your balances. If you allow it in Settings, redemptions can be queued on the device and sync when the connection returns. Issuing and reloading wait for a connection.
Yes, any time. Admin exports every card, balance and transaction as CSV.
